We want you to enjoy your stay at Lower Worthygate. The rooms are cosy, each with wash basin. Bathroom facilities are adjacent to the rooms.

The coast path walk requires sturdy shoes.

The South West Coast Path is accessible a mere 500 meters away and you can begin your exploration here, deciding only which direction holds the most immediate interest for you, left for Clovelly, via Bucks Mills and the Hobby Drive. Hartland is beyond, the quay having featured in several films, including Treasure Island.

Perhaps you will turn right for Peppercombe, Abbotsham & Green Cliffs, before continuing on to Westward Ho! where Rudyard Kipling was educated & where he conceived the idea for his book, Stalky & Co.
